A Bed to Call Their Own
For a long time, many children in our care had no proper place to sleep. They used old mats or thin sheets spread on the floor. When we visited their homes, we saw how hard their nights were — cold, uncomfortable, and restless. We prayed for a way to change that, and through the support of our friends and partners, God made it possible.
We bought new beds, mattresses, and blankets. The day they arrived, the children could hardly believe what they saw. Their eyes shone with joy as we helped them set up their new beds. One girl said softly, “I have never had my own bed before.” Those words broke our hearts and filled us with gratitude at the same time.
That night, as the children slept peacefully, we thanked God for His provision. What may seem small to some meant the world to them. A bed is more than a place to sleep — it is a symbol of dignity, comfort, and love. Through your giving, you have given many children a reason to rest and dream again.
